Baltazar Lobos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Shemaya Zelika made a huge save. When Yada Schortz fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Magen David's protests and gave Yada Schortz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th minute, Yada Schortz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baltazar Lobos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Shemaya Zelika firmly grabbed it by the left post. But to his dismay, Baron Yehuda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaco Danziger in the 94th minute of play forced CDU Católica's goalkeeper Claudio Ledea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CDU Católica's Baltazar Lobos got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Magen David played a much better game than CDU Católica and deserved their victory. The CDU Católica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
