The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, FC Pegasas Siauliai's Audrius Dūdėnas got control of the ball when Paulo Pezzella tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Galoer in the 8th minute of play forced FC Pegasas Siauliai's goalkeeper Audrius Dūdėnas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Audrius Dūdėnas didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when River Plate ® 9-12's Paulo Pezzella shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Audrius Dūdėnas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Galoer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Borja Colidio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 37 played minutes FC Pegasas Siauliai got a freekick which was hit by Darijus Baltrūnas. Paulo Pezzella did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Audrius Dūdėnas 41 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the game, Borja Colidio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Audrius Dūdėnas. Borja Colidio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mantvydas Žalnerauskas to make the kick off. Jonas Dominguez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 53 minutes into the match, FC Pegasas Siauliai's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Galoer came free, but Audrius Dūdėnas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Audrius Dūdėnas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Pezzella, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After having played for 57 minutes, Paulo Pezzella managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. River Plate ® 9-12's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Pezzella was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 60 minutes, Mantvydas Žalnerauskas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Pegasas Siauliai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentas Daunoras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The River Plate ® 9-12 fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Pegasas Siauliai had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
