In the 6th minute of the match River Plate ® 9-12 got a corner. Harlow AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Paulo Pezzella ran over to the corner to take the kick. Danny Rowe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Pezzella's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Albert Read could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Felix Herensuge made a huge save. The supporters of Harlow AFC booed when River Plate ® 9-12 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Raitin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Borja Colidio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Danny Rowe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th match minute, Harlow AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calvin Whitmore to maneuver through the defense. Jonas Dominguez hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. A collision led to River Plate ® 9-12 getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Florencio Lehen hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, Nemesio Frisco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sonny Earnshaw succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 38th playminute. When Florencio Lehen fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored River Plate ® 9-12's protests and gave Florencio Lehen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st match minute, River Plate ® 9-12 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Lehen to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Harlow AFC's Stewart Edworthy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Felix Herensuge. That made the score 2-1 after 43 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Borja Colidio to strike the kick off in the second half. Paulo Pezzella recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Harlow AFC's Calvin Whitmore got a free kick in the 57th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Gartzen got free with Danny Rowe in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonas Dominguez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 67 played minutes River Plate ® 9-12 got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Gartzen. In the 69th minute, Calvin Whitmore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stewart Edworthy during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of River Plate ® 9-12 booed when Harlow AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stewart Edworthy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th play minute Jonas Dominguez came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Danny Rowe. 2-2. If Borja Colidio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Pezzella got free with Danny Rowe in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, River Plate ® 9-12's Danny Rowe threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Borja Colidio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Harlow AFC's zone, Borja Colidio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danny Rowe came out of the goal and Borja Colidio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
