Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Afonso Baiano started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Amancio Savion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Baiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alejo Aimar charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alejo Aimar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alejo Aimar kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Afonso Baiano scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amancio Savion, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Eutor during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Expresso Ranelagh getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Gabriel Eutor hit a great ball. Afonso Baiano took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amancio Savion. Amancio Savion dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 23rd match minute, Expresso Ranelagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio Tercero to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Willian Vergílio in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amancio Savion saved Expresso Ranelagh from getting behind. In the 26th minute, Alejo Aimar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amancio Savion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Baiano in the 28th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Expresso Ranelagh's goal looked a bit too open when Willian Vergílio came free, but Amancio Savion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Expresso Ranelagh defense, Willian Vergílio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amancio Savion. The Expresso Ranelagh fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amancio Savion should have stopped the shot. In the 46th minute, Willian Vergílio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amancio Savion came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Villa Verde FC's Luís Fernando Barros. But to his dismay, Luís Fernando Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cirilo Fraco made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Bruno Cordarin made a precise shot to the right of Igor Camargo. Villa Verde FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. Alejo Aimar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Igor Camargo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Villa Verde FC's Willian Vergílio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Amancio Savion. Amancio Savion yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. After 70 played minutes Villa Verde FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Alagoano. Expresso Ranelagh's Amancio Savion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willian Vergílio in the 73rd minute of play. Amancio Savion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horácio Ceresso, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Willian Vergílio got free with Amancio Savion in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Afonso Baiano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Amancio Savion. That made the score 1-8 in the 82 minute of play. Expresso Ranelagh's Amancio Savion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fernando Barros in the 87th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Expresso Ranelagh's Cirilo Fraco got a free kick in the 90th minute. Amancio Savion made an important save on a dangerous shot by Willian Vergílio in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute, Claudinei Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Villa Verde FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
