Petru Sabău started the match with the kick off. Sebastian Zogreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mitxel Pedraza, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. 3 minutes into the match, Mitxel Pedraza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastian Zogreanu. Muget's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mitxel Pedraza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 10th match minute, Picanya FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tito Cifuentes to maneuver through the defense. Picanya FC were furious when Adán Justo was red carded, 11 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 11 minutes into the game, one of Picanya FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When Tito Cifuentes fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Picanya FC's protests and gave Tito Cifuentes a yellow card for diving instead. Petri Bravo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petru Sabău's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. The supporters of Picanya FC booed when Muget was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costică Alb didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute of the match Fran Serra shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sebastian Zogreanu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 24th match minute, Picanya FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Izquierdo to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Picanya FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Tito Cifuentes hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the game, Mitxel Pedraza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Sebastian Zogreanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 33rd minute, Mitxel Pedraza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Picanya FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Picanya FC's Tito Cifuentes suffered a sore thigh after 40 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Costică Alb fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Muget's protests and gave Costică Alb a yellow card for diving instead. Picanya FC's Demesio Izquierdo was substituted for Tito Cifuentes. In the 42nd minute, Costică Alb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mitxel Pedraza to strike the kick off in the second half. Xoan Bargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Petri Bravo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugur Popescu in the 66th minute of the match. The supporters of Picanya FC booed when Muget was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vintilă Barbăneagră didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Muget defense, Mitxel Pedraza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastian Zogreanu. The Muget fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian Zogreanu should have stopped the shot. After 86 minutes of play, Muget's Mugur Popescu made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Petri Bravo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Demesio Izquierdo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Sebastian Zogreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Muget's zone, Demesio Izquierdo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Zogreanu came out of the goal and Demesio Izquierdo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
