The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isak Termander helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Muget booed when Degerfors IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isak Termander didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute Petru Sabău shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pontus Lindström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Zogreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmund Beckeman, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. A collision led to Muget getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Șerban Vulpăşin hit a great ball. With a little luck, Muget's Sebastian Zogreanu got control of the ball when Edmund Beckeman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kenny Forsberg to make the kick off. The Degerfors IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Sebastian Zogreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stellan Runberg in the 62nd minute of play. Pontus Lindström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
