Idris Alişov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Örtendahl in the 27th minute of the match. A collision led to SazobaSpor getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Çärkäz Cavanşirov hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Claes Stenman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Idris Alişov was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Johannes Örtendahl during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of SazobaSpor booed when Degerfors IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Örtendahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SazobaSpor! Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kenny Forsberg to make the kick off. SazobaSpor's Idris Alişov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakob Markusson in the 73rd minute of play. Idris Alişov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claes Stenman in the 77th minute. After a rather tough play, Degerfors IF's Dan Grönberg got a free kick in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fäxräddin Yunisov in the 84th minute of play forced Degerfors IF's goalkeeper Pontus Lindström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johannes Örtendahl kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Degerfors IF played a much better game than SazobaSpor and deserved their victory. The SazobaSpor players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
