Cléber Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Gabon Torrente made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Paulo Terra in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute, Júbilo Iwata's Vágner Medeiros ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gabon Torrente. Gabon Torrente yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Júbilo Iwata's Dinei Tróia got a free kick in the 10th minute. Pedro Luiz de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Currito Moreno in the 12th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A.'s Eduardo Balboa got a free kick in the 13th minute. Gabon Torrente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vágner Medeiros in the 14th minute of play. Dinei Tróia hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Vágner Medeiros kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gabon Torrente. That made the score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. Pedro Luiz de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Carballeira in the 24th minute of play. When Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A.'s Alfonso Carballeira in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Júbilo Iwata's goalie prevented a goal. When Júbilo Iwata's José Paulo Terra in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A.'s goalie prevented a goal. Gabon Torrente stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vágner Medeiros's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Aníbal Britto kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Gabon Torrente was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and José Paulo Terra capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. José Paulo Terra really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Archibaldo Ponce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alfonso Carballeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Archibaldo Ponce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luiz de Mendonça having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfonso Carballeira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alexandro Serra kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Gabon Torrente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vágner Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 52nd minute, Vágner Medeiros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Júbilo Iwata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Gabon Torrente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cléber Vale in the 54th minute of play. Gabon Torrente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Paulo Terra in the 64th minute of the match. Archibaldo Ponce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Pedro Luiz de Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Paulo Terra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabon Torrente having to interfere. When Archibaldo Ponce came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Archibaldo Ponce couldn't finish the play. Gabon Torrente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Paulo Terra, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Gabon Torrente came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Júbilo Iwata's Cléber Vale. But to his dismay, Cléber Vale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 90th minute, Eduardo Balboa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Currito Moreno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Currito Moreno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Luiz de Mendonça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Júbilo Iwata's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
