Nestor dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute Rogelio Quintyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo de Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atletas Campesinos F.C. were furious when Marcelino Constancio was red carded, 6 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Atletas Campesinos F.C. getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Marcelino Constancio hit a great ball. Israel Bortzaioriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Paraense, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 12th minute Nestor dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Bortzaioriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Haroldo Maciel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Evaristo Pelagius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the game, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Evaristo Pelagius nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelo de Castro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Isidor in the 23rd minute of play forced Montalcino SE's goalkeeper Marcelo de Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Evaristo Pelagius in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Nestor Elizardo got a free kick in the 34th minute. After 35 minutes of play, Montalcino SE's Elias da Silva made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Israel Bortzaioriz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evaristo Pelagius in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo de Castro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nestor dos Santos during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Evaristo Pelagius struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Marcelo de Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletas Campesinos F.C.. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elias da Silva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Isidor in the 54th minute of play forced Montalcino SE's goalkeeper Marcelo de Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th match minute, Montalcino SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristóvão Paiva to maneuver through the defense. After 58 played minutes, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Antonio Isidor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcelo de Castro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atletas Campesinos F.C. reached it. In the 59th minute, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Rogelio Quintyn dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. After 64 played minutes Rogelio Quintyn rounded Montalcino SE's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-3. A collision led to Atletas Campesinos F.C. getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Rogelio Quintyn hit a great ball. Israel Bortzaioriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Paraense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elias da Silva's late challenge caught a Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elias da Silva helped the player get up and apologised. After 74 played minutes Montalcino SE got a freekick which was hit by Elias da Silva. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evaristo Pelagius got free with Marcelo de Castro in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Montalcino SE's Nestor dos Santos got a free kick in the 79th minute. Marcelo de Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Pelagius, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Evaristo Pelagius's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcelo de Castro firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 89th play minute Evaristo Pelagius came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marcelo de Castro. 2-4. 93 minutes into the match, Montalcino SE's goalkeeper Marcelo de Castro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evaristo Pelagius. Haroldo Maciel hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Rogelio Quintyn slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcelo de Castro. That made the score 2-5 after 95 minutes of play. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
