Miren Guilisasti charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miren Guilisasti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Miren Guilisasti kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After 13 minutes of play, Robíño Football Club's Bengt Berggren made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fidelio Herboso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jens-Ove Lindkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Fidelio Herboso made a huge save. Eddie Kjellkvist took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fidelio Herboso. Fidelio Herboso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. With a little luck, U. de Tarapacá's Fidelio Herboso got control of the ball when Eddie Kjellkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Robíño Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mattias Berggren to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Robíño Football Club's goalkeeper Fredric Jansson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fredric Jansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Odol Bianchi in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miren Guilisasti in the 33rd minute of play forced Robíño Football Club's goalkeeper Fredric Jansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edvin Vedholm received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fidelio Herboso came out and tried to block the shot, but Edvin Vedholm slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 35th minute. After 39 minutes, José Alberto Alonso made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Robíño Football Club's Fredric Jansson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. José Alberto Alonso kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. A collision led to Robíño Football Club getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Henry Alfors hit a great ball. Saturnín Vicuña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredric Jansson having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eddie Kjellkvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fidelio Herboso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eddie Kjellkvist's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. A collision led to U. de Tarapacá getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Miren Guilisasti hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the match, Eddie Kjellkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fidelio Herboso. U. de Tarapacá's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eddie Kjellkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Raimundo Donaire hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Robíño Football Club's Fredric Jansson got control of the ball when Raimundo Donaire tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fidelio Herboso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddie Kjellkvist in the 79th minute of the match.
