Nova Venécia-ES's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Equipo the free kick. After 34th play minutes Anacleto Maore shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Olavo de Sousa and just under the crossbar into goal. Elias Gonçalves hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Florentino Eufemio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Anacleto Maore's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olavo de Sousa was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. In the 70th minute, Florentino Eufemio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olavo de Sousa was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. After a rather tough play, Nova Venécia-ES's Elias Gonçalves got a free kick in the 74th minute. Orlando Leoiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo de Queiroz in the 77th minute of the match. When Marcos Rutenio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. 92 minutes into the match, Nova Venécia-ES's Wilton Paes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orlando Leoiar narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
