The Bajenland fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to Ulan Bator Football Club getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Guillaume Rouckeloos hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Dolf De Messemaecker notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Bajenland's Tage Dahlgren. Tage Dahlgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 20 minutes into the game, Eric Van Hinnendaels recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tage Dahlgren. Eric Van Hinnendaels showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Bajenland's Ove Wennerström suffered a concussion in the 30th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 30 minutes, Guillaume Rouckeloos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ulan Bator Football Club and the Bajenland players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 32 played minutes Ulan Bator Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Guillaume Rouckeloos. Folke Skoog, 32 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ronald Maeijnarts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Eric Van Hinnendaels dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tage Dahlgren, 4-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Ronald Maeijnarts managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ulan Bator Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronald Maeijnarts was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tage Dahlgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 44 played minutes Bajenland got a freekick which was hit by Niclas Åkesson. Arnold Haesevoets took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urban Gerdberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Urban Gerdberg to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Dolf De Messemaecker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Tage Dahlgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Urban Gerdberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronald Maeijnarts in the 61st minute of play forced Bajenland's goalkeeper Tage Dahlgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
