Berni y Benja FC's Celestino Medina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Berni y Benja FC from getting a goal against them. 23 minutes into the match, Berni y Benja FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wawa Doro came free, but Celestino Medina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th match minute, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ioan Mereacre to maneuver through the defense. Wawa Doro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Celestino Medina when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Wawa Doro did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised Celestino Medina 43 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Maximo Izel made the kick off in the second half. Artemio Abascal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alex Ţirpe came out and tried to block the shot, but Artemio Abascal slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 54th minute. The supporters of Berni y Benja FC booed when Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wawa Doro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauro Macerio kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Berni y Benja FC defense, Wawa Doro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celestino Medina. The Berni y Benja FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celestino Medina should have stopped the shot. 73 minutes into the game, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Lucian Baran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celestino Medina made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Avram Panaiteanu during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The long shot by Godofredo Txema in the 84th minute really tested Alex Ţirpe's skills. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
