In the 14thth minute of the game Fevzi Oyal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rakkestad IF's Kenneth Friis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 15th minute, Ufuk Sami hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Jeppe Benjaminsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kenneth Friis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Güney Dokuzoğlu in the 19th minute of the match. The Rakkestad IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kenneth Friis should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otto Klepp in the 44th minute of play forced SARI ZEYBEK's goalkeeper Ali Atıf Aktan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When Mustafa Orhan Cesur fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SARI ZEYBEK's protests and gave Mustafa Orhan Cesur a yellow card for diving instead. Rakkestad IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Halstensen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anıl Arda Dahi struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Kenneth Friis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SARI ZEYBEK. 91 minutes into the match, Rakkestad IF's goalkeeper Kenneth Friis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Güney Dokuzoğlu. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SARI ZEYBEK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
