After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Patrik Johnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. BK Nerysminne's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrik Johnsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diamantino de Queiroz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 12 minutes, Patrik Johnsson made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Airborne FC's Diamantino de Queiroz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th minute, Dudu Mesquita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Douglas Käcker was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Diamantino de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Johnsson in the 21st minute of the match. Frank Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Melo struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Douglas Käcker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Airborne FC. Diamantino de Queiroz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patrik Johnsson in the 38th minute. Dudu Mesquita's late challenge caught a BK Nerysminne's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dudu Mesquita helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th match minute, Airborne FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dudu Mesquita to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hélio Terra was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Hélio Terra kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Douglas Käcker. That made the score 1-2 in the 57 minute of play. Douglas Käcker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Melo in the 64th minute of play. Patrik Johnsson took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diamantino de Queiroz. Diamantino de Queiroz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emil Myr during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 74th minute, Emil Myr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hélio Terra charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hélio Terra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hélio Terra hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. BK Nerysminne's Ulf Hernström got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Johnsson in the 82nd minute of play forced Airborne FC's goalkeeper Diamantino de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Patrik Johnsson made a precise shot to the right of Diamantino de Queiroz. Airborne FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Emil Myr was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Emil Myr hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. BK Nerysminne were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Airborne FC for a fine match.
