The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind YR☆Bald Eagle™'s goalkeeper Eliodor Buciu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dumitru Lunca kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Umberto Nóbrega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Fenato futebol clube:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of YR☆Bald Eagle™:s goal. In the 14th minute there was a penalty for YR☆Bald Eagle™. Emil Danciu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Antônio Carlos Cearense. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calistrat Stoican in the 21st minute of play forced Fenato futebol clube's goalkeeper Antônio Carlos Cearense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antônio Carlos Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calistrat Stoican in the 24th minute of play. Antônio Carlos Cearense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vintilă Ticulescu in the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th match minute, Fenato futebol clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fernando Rosado to maneuver through the defense. Fenato futebol clube's Antônio Carlos Cearense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristinel Lipan in the 30th minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Vintilă Ticulescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Antônio Carlos Cearense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Fenato futebol clube's José Carlos Romero got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute, Vintilă Ticulescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The YR☆Bald Eagle™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. When YR☆Bald Eagle™'s Vintilă Ticulescu in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hermínio Seco was the one to do the kick off. Eliodor Buciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Carlos Romero in the 52nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Vintilă Ticulescu put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Antônio Carlos Cearense. 60 minutes into the game, Vintilă Ticulescu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Antônio Carlos Cearense. Vintilă Ticulescu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Antônio Carlos Cearense made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Vintilă Ticulescu sent off a good shot on target. 67 minutes into the match, YR☆Bald Eagle™'s goal looked a bit too open when Hermínio Seco came free, but Eliodor Buciu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliodor Buciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Carlos Romero in the 69th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Viorel Bota during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to YR☆Bald Eagle™ getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Viorel Bota hit a great ball. After 77 played minutes YR☆Bald Eagle™ got a freekick which was hit by Vintilă Ticulescu. Vintilă Ticulescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by Vintilă Ticulescu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With his leg Antônio Carlos Cearense managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when YR☆Bald Eagle™'s Vintilă Ticulescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Fenato futebol clube booed when YR☆Bald Eagle™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Danciu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in YR☆Bald Eagle™'s zone, Hermínio Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliodor Buciu came out of the goal and Hermínio Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The YR☆Bald Eagle™ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing YR☆Bald Eagle™ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
