Naycho Dotzov was slow to take the kick. During this time GARGOYLES's players had a chance to rest. The corner led GARGOYLES's Valko Nanyov to fire away a dangerous shot which Narciso Frechoso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Alejo Larra came free with the goalkeeper in the 9th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Andoni Zubizarreta could save by the left post. Narciso Frechoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Alvarez in the 16th minute of the match. GARGOYLES's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Naycho Dotzov in the 17th minute. Slavyan Mechkuev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Narciso Frechoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Alvarez in the 27th minute of play.
