Nueva Bodega's Efrain Aztore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stathis Panagakis in the 12th minute of play. Zisis Pnevmatikatos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guido Maria in the 16th minute. Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Gozilla's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrosio Ignazio came free, but Zisis Pnevmatikatos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Efrain Aztore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos in the 26th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Guido Maria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zisis Pnevmatikatos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Efrain Aztore didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Efrain Aztore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stathis Panagakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gozilla's Zisis Pnevmatikatos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanko Drenovac in the 35th minute of play. Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Efrain Aztore. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos ran back to his position shaking his head. Nueva Bodega's Ambrosio Ignazio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kostas Koutsis in the 42 minute of the game. The supporters of Gozilla booed when Nueva Bodega was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Ignazio didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Nueva Bodega getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Carlos Xavier hit a great ball. Nueva Bodega's Efrain Aztore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vaggelis Malesios in the 45th minute of play. Efrain Aztore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Efrain Aztore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Gozilla's Fokas Souflas was substituted for Kostas Koutsis. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stathis Panagakis made a kick off. Nueva Bodega's Alejandro Senio was substituted for Gogo Pio. Gozilla's Valentinos Skiadopoulos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Javier Orlin, made in the 83rd minute of the game. If Stathis Panagakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 97th minute Guido Maria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zisis Pnevmatikatos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
