Arkın Taşboğa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Kutsi Akbilge in the 11th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, AFC Richmond's goalkeeper Arkın Taşboğa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Kutsi Akbilge. Arkın Taşboğa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avni Taykut in the 18th minute of play. With a little luck, AFC Richmond's Arkın Taşboğa got control of the ball when Ahmet Kutsi Akbilge tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ahmet Kutsi Akbilge in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arkın Taşboğa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 35th minute, Ahmet Nasir Acemoğlu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and AFC Richmond's Arkın Taşboğa didn't even have to move. Arkın Taşboğa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Kutsi Akbilge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gonzalo Cuenca during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to AFC Richmond getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Gonzalo Cuenca hit a great ball. Ahmet Kutsi Akbilge's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arkın Taşboğa firmly grabbed it by the left post. The Samsunspor SK2011 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AFC Richmond were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmet Kutsi Akbilge was the one to do the kick off. In the 58thth minute of the game Meriç Durukan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC Richmond's Arkın Taşboğa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Ahmet Nasir Acemoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arkın Taşboğa was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Emiel Pinksteren's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ergincan Sahadettin firmly grabbed it by the left post. 63 minutes into the match, AFC Richmond's goal looked a bit too open when Meriç Durukan came free, but Arkın Taşboğa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AFC Richmond's attentive Sandro Cavareda managed to snatch the ball when Sadettin Şenyaşar made a throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game. Remicio Price received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ergincan Sahadettin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AFC Richmond's Dino Yanque was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ergincan Sahadettin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Samsunspor SK2011's Ergincan Sahadettin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remicio Price in the 85th minute of play. Fernando Tolhauzsen charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernando Tolhauzsen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 86 played minutes AFC Richmond got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Tolhauzsen. Bircan Barbaros hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Dino Yanque struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Ergincan Sahadettin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Richmond. Ahmet Kutsi Akbilge took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arkın Taşboğa. Arkın Taşboğa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Samsunspor SK2011 players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
