Lolo Acharan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jorge Iztal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eladio Sarmiento hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Carlos Alberto Villa came out of the goal and Joaquim Fernandes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Talcampeón FC's Carlos Alberto Villa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Cutberto in the 38th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lolo Acharan was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Espirillo FC's zone, Mikel Señoret stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Iztal came out of the goal and Mikel Señoret tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcelino Fritz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Iztal having to interfere. Espirillo FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aaron Cutberto in the 58th minute. The corner led Espirillo FC's Aaron Cutberto to fire away a dangerous shot which Carlos Alberto Villa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Talcampeón FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aaron Cutberto was slow to take the kick. During this time Espirillo FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Espirillo FC's Aaron Cutberto to fire away a dangerous shot which Carlos Alberto Villa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Lolo Acharan notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Espirillo FC's Jorge Iztal. Jorge Iztal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 67 minutes into the match, Espirillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yeray Necochea came free, but Jorge Iztal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Talcampeón FC booed when Espirillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikel Señoret kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Aaron Cutberto sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Talcampeón FC's Carlos Alberto Villa didn't even have to move. Arnoldo Arotza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
