Teo De Jonge came out of the goal and Miguel Ángel Riesco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teo De Jonge made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Juan Eduardo Atenas sent off a good shot on target. Teo De Jonge made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Ángel Riesco in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the match, KFC Vliegplein's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Schubert came free, but Teo De Jonge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 minutes KFC Vliegplein's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Thomas Lawrie who took care of the corner kick. TurboUC's Julius Vranx was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Teo De Jonge in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 16th minute Ferdinand Weijnants shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlín Rozas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Ángel Riesco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Teo De Jonge made a huge save. In the 18thth minute of the game Miguel Ángel Riesco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KFC Vliegplein's Teo De Jonge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 19 minutes, Juan Eduardo Atenas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TurboUC and the KFC Vliegplein players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Eduardo Atenas got free with Teo De Jonge in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. KFC Vliegplein were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after TurboUC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Endel Darmer took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Ferdinand Weijnants heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind KFC Vliegplein's goalkeeper Teo De Jonge, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Ferdinand Weijnants managed to get in a good position for a shot. KFC Vliegplein's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferdinand Weijnants was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlín Rozas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paul-Louis Jannes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Miguel Ángel Riesco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. TurboUC made a substitution. Podador Escudero replaced Dušan Tadić. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miguel Ángel Riesco to strike the kick off in the second half. Miguel Ángel Riesco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teo De Jonge having to make a save. Teo De Jonge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Ángel Riesco in the 57th minute of the match. Teo De Jonge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Ángel Riesco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orlín Rozas came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by KFC Vliegplein's Ferdinand Weijnants. But to his dismay, Ferdinand Weijnants quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Orlín Rozas made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Ferdinand Weijnants sent off a good shot on target. TurboUC's Orlín Rozas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save TurboUC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, KFC Vliegplein's Piet Van Bostraeten got a free kick in the 70th minute. TurboUC made a substitution. Jaime Pizarro replaced Juan Eduardo Atenas. TurboUC made a substitution. Cui Ling Xi replaced Juan González. A collision led to KFC Vliegplein getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Piet Van Bostraeten hit a great ball. If Allan Schubert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 77th minute, Piet Van Bostraeten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teo De Jonge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Ángel Riesco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Schubert in the 82nd minute of play forced KFC Vliegplein's goalkeeper Teo De Jonge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, TurboUC's Orlín Rozas got control of the ball when Ferdinand Weijnants tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Miguel Ángel Riesco came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the TurboUC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Ángel Riesco couldn't finish the play. When TurboUC's Miguel Ángel Riesco in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KFC Vliegplein's goalie prevented a goal. In the 97th minute Miguel Ángel Riesco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo De Jonge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 97 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Miguel Ángel Riesco sped through KFC Vliegplein's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Teo De Jonge. The KFC Vliegplein players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented TurboUC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
