The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Sagene IF's Ivan Óbolo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Karl Björk. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans-Kristian Aanes in the 6th minute of play forced BraveHearts United's goalkeeper Karl Björk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 7 played minutes BraveHearts United got a freekick which was hit by Östen Sellberg. 10 minutes into the game, Marius Brun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Glyn Wedlock was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 12th minute Marius Brun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glyn Wedlock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Östen Sellberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BraveHearts United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sagene IF the free kick. Karl Björk had great luck who in the 18thth minute grab hold of the ball when Ivan Óbolo from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. If Raymond Michalsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Victoriano Lixandro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BraveHearts United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Karl Björk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Óbolo in the 36th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Östen Sellberg in the 38th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sagene IF's William Knutsen. Glyn Wedlock didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victoriano Lixandro went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. William Knutsen kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell CJ Townsley to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Marius Brun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BraveHearts United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. With a little luck, Sagene IF's Glyn Wedlock got control of the ball when CJ Townsley tried to sneak it across the goal line. Karl Björk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Óbolo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sverker Rosén kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Karl Björk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Óbolo in the 67th minute of play. In the 68thth minute of the game Ivan Óbolo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BraveHearts United's Karl Björk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raymond Michalsen in the 69th minute of play forced BraveHearts United's goalkeeper Karl Björk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sagene IF's Thorbjørn Sandøy was substituted for William Knutsen. Glyn Wedlock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marius Brun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivan Óbolo succeeded in the game's 84th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when CJ Townsley got free with Glyn Wedlock in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Sagene IF's Glyn Wedlock got control of the ball when Victoriano Lixandro tried to sneak it across the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, BraveHearts United's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Óbolo came free, but Karl Björk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. BraveHearts United made a substitution. Gilbert Knutsson replaced Sverker Rosén. For all the effort they put into the match, the BraveHearts United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sagene IF.
