After 13 played minutes, Bir Garip Oyun's Seyit Tülün shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Braulio Gartxot came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bir Garip Oyun reached it. In the 20th minute, Marcel da Rocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Radoslaw Solibieda's late challenge caught a Bir Garip Oyun's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Radoslaw Solibieda helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bir Garip Oyun booed when Red Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radoslaw Solibieda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Braulio Gartxot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seyit Tülün in the 25th minute of play. In the 74th minute Lupe Bower shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Gartxot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marc Strasdeit kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simone Spano in the 80th minute of play forced Bir Garip Oyun's goalkeeper Mert Günok to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Red Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Jarkko Laatikainen came free, but Braulio Gartxot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
