Manole Miulescu started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Péter Bánhegyi in the 3rd minute of play forced CENTAURO's goalkeeper Siro Cordeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Siro Cordeiro came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Alexandria Team08's Péter Bánhegyi. But to his dismay, Péter Bánhegyi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Siro Cordeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Dică in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manole Miulescu in the 20th minute of play forced CENTAURO's goalkeeper Siro Cordeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Alexandria Team08's Péter Bánhegyi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Siro Cordeiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Siro Cordeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manole Miulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Siro Cordeiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! 35 minutes into the match, Alexandria Team08's goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Hanot came free, but Radu Barbălată reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Gogo Hanot lined in a short shot 1-4 behind a frustrated Radu Barbălată. In the 41st minute Péter Bánhegyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Cordeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Siro Cordeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manole Miulescu in the 42nd minute of play. Alexandria Team08's Radu Barbălată played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Argoitz in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th minute Péter Bánhegyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Cordeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Alexandria Team08's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jedrzej Sanocki in the 53rd minute. The corner ended in Basarab Panciu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CENTAURO's Siro Cordeiro did a great save. In the 55th minute Marin Dică shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Cordeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Hanot in the 59th minute of play forced Alexandria Team08's goalkeeper Radu Barbălată to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radu Barbălată showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gogo Hanot, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. When Basarab Panciu came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Alexandria Team08 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basarab Panciu couldn't finish the play. Marin Dică blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Siro Cordeiro having to make a save. CENTAURO's Patricio Tiso was substituted for Ovidio Rivero. 68 minutes into the match, Alexandria Team08's Marin Dică sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Siro Cordeiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Marin Dică reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Siro Cordeiro. The goal made the score 1-5. Marin Dică who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Siro Cordeiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind CENTAURO's goalkeeper Siro Cordeiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marin Dică struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Siro Cordeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alexandria Team08. Marin Dică could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Siro Cordeiro made a huge save. A nice corner shot did that Eloy Mannuel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Radu Barbălată quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. CENTAURO's Angel Abella got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Radu Barbălată made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Abella in the 97th minute of play. Alexandria Team08's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
