In the 51st minute, João Francisco Britto made a precise shot to the right of Efim Fedotov. Los Valientes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 60 played minutes Buffalo Timişoara got a freekick which was hit by Victor Neicu. Hunor Csapó showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jago Back in the 60th minute of the match. Los Valientes's Efim Fedotov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Los Valientes from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Buffalo Timişoara booed when Los Valientes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Meng Jie Chong didn't get a good kick on the ball. Buffalo Timişoara's Cornel Timofte was substituted for Arnulfo Marino. After 74 played minutes Los Valientes got a freekick which was hit by Meng Jie Chong. 80 minutes into the match, Los Valientes's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Zbora came free, but Efim Fedotov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute of the match Los Valientes got a corner. Buffalo Timişoara's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jago Back ran over to the corner to take the kick. Los Valientes's Jago Back was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hunor Csapó in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With an all-out effort, Buffalo Timişoara's Efim Fedotov threw himself towards the right post 97 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cornel Timofte, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Efim Fedotov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionică Buculeasa in the 98th minute of the match. The Buffalo Timişoara supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Buffalo Timişoara would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
