Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) After having played for 2 minutes, Emanuel Reno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rebentala FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Reno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 3 minutes, Carl Qvarnström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hartlepool and the Rebentala FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carl Qvarnström kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Åke Stål showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Reno, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Reno in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Åke Stål saved Hartlepool from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Qvarnström in the 12th minute of play forced Rebentala FC's goalkeeper Remzi İçten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hasan Hüseyin Orak made a great header on Hartlepool's corner, it was just that Rebentala FC's Remzi İçten managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 16th minute, Carl Qvarnström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Hasan Hüseyin Orak, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 25 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Remzi İçten was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hasan Hüseyin Orak got free with Remzi İçten in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th minute, Hazım Cilasun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Åke Stål was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 31st minute, Hazım Cilasun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ralf Rask had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Åke Stål stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hazım Cilasun's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Rebentala FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hasan Hüseyin Orak came free, but Remzi İçten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Hartlepool's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Pelayo came free, but Åke Stål reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hazım Cilasun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Åke Stål came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Rebentala FC's Emanuel Reno. But to his dismay, Emanuel Reno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hazım Cilasun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hartlepool's Åke Stål proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 50th minute of the match, managed to save Hartlepool from getting a goal against them. If Bengt Blixt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hazım Cilasun's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Åke Stål firmly grabbed it by the left post. Remzi İçten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hasan Hüseyin Orak in the 64th minute of the match. Bengt Blixt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remzi İçten having to interfere. Rebentala FC made a substitution. Alberto Veremundo replaced Patricio Pelayo. When Hasan Hüseyin Orak came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Hartlepool fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hasan Hüseyin Orak couldn't finish the play. 73 minutes into the match, Rebentala FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Qvarnström came free, but Remzi İçten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Constantino Umbruso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Åke Stål. Constantino Umbruso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Remzi İçten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hasan Hüseyin Orak in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute Hartlepool were awarded a corner. Hasan Hüseyin Orak went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Ralf Rask got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Remzi İçten quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 84 minutes into the game, Hartlepool's Hasan Hüseyin Orak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Remzi İçten made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. The supporters of Hartlepool booed when Rebentala FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Laffitte didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rebentala FC's zone, Carl Qvarnström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remzi İçten came out of the goal and Carl Qvarnström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hartlepool's Åke Stål proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Hartlepool from getting a goal against them. Åke Stål made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Veremundo in the 93rd minute of play.
