An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Ståhlberg in the 18th minute of play forced Royal Excel Mouscron's goalkeeper Edgar Poe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 19 in the game by João Augusto Fantini from a close distance when the talented Pär Löfdahl managed to make a qualified save. AZAT MARD FC's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jon Waller in the 21st minute of play forced Royal Excel Mouscron's goalkeeper Edgar Poe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgar Poe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Olsman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Augusto Fantini got free with Pär Löfdahl in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. AZAT MARD FC's Pär Löfdahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Kunze in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute Martin Olsman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Poe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Royal Excel Mouscron's Edgar Poe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Ståhlberg in the 42nd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for João Augusto Fantini to strike the kick off in the second half. Pär Löfdahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Kunze in the 51st minute of play. Edgar Poe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Olsman, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Martin Olsman took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgar Poe. Edgar Poe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Edgar Poe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Lagerberg in the 64th minute of the match. Edgar Poe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jon Waller in the 71st minute of play. Karl-Erik Hellsing's late challenge caught a Royal Excel Mouscron's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Erik Hellsing helped the player get up and apologised. After 72 played minutes AZAT MARD FC got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Erik Hellsing. AZAT MARD FC made a substitution. Nils-Emil Torsberg replaced Maximilian Arenstedt. AZAT MARD FC's Sebastian Åkerman was substituted for Jon Waller. Karl-Erik Hellsing hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Pär Löfdahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Kunze, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute.
