Aimilios Manolas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Muhammet Ökten went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 45 minutes into the match, Uptown Otters's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Langoni came free, but Aimilios Manolas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rigoberto Bihar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebiu Surdilă in the 46th minute of play. After the first half River Plate ® 9-12 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Muhammet Ökten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
