Cornelio Merexildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vygandas Morkus in the 8th minute of the match. Saturnino Diagur scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Egidijus Petukas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 22 played minutes Defensores del Albinegro got a freekick which was hit by Marz Caracedo. Cornelio Merexildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daumantas Navikas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Egidijus Petukas made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Luciano Jerano sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Defensores del Albinegro getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Radowit Barciniak hit a great ball. After 33 minutes, Lorenzo Lluterio made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Nadruvis's Egidijus Petukas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Defensores del Albinegro's Cornelio Merexildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vygandas Morkus in the 41st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vygandas Morkus in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cornelio Merexildo saved Defensores del Albinegro from getting behind. Saturnino Diagur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Egidijus Petukas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th match minute, Nadruvis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egidijus Plungys to maneuver through the defense.

51 minutes into the match, Defensores del Albinegro's goal looked a bit too open when Vygandas Morkus came free, but Cornelio Merexildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cornelio Merexildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vygandas Morkus, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After 58 minutes, Vygandas Morkus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nadruvis and the Defensores del Albinegro players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Bernardas Dovydaitis fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nadruvis's protests and gave Bernardas Dovydaitis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute, one of Nadruvis:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nadruvis. In the 63rd minute there was a penalty for Defensores del Albinegro. Ildefonso Balesio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Egidijus Petukas. 4-0. Nadruvis's Daumantas Navikas came free and shot a quick shot against goal 74 minutes in the game, fortunately Cornelio Merexildo had problems saving as it came toward the left post. After 76 minutes Defensores del Albinegro's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Donatas Kasiulis who took care of the corner kick. Nadruvis's Donatas Kasiulis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cornelio Merexildo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Egidijus Petukas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Jerano, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vygandas Morkus in the 87th minute of play forced Defensores del Albinegro's goalkeeper Cornelio Merexildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With splendid footwork Vygandas Morkus arrived in front of goal to shoot 4-1 by the left pole in the game's 88th minute. After 93 minutes of play, Nadruvis's Daumantas Navikas made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cornelio Merexildo was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Robertas Achilas in the 97th minute of play forced Defensores del Albinegro's goalkeeper Cornelio Merexildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nadruvis's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
