The audience was convinced that Bandit Idaman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ercole Carnevale was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. A collision led to Santoryu FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Elia Strano hit a great ball. When Glintung FC's Deng Zhen Chen in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee gave Glintung FC a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Giles Janda, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Santoryu FC's Ercole Carnevale. 0-1. With a little luck, Glintung FC's Lev Buffon got control of the ball when Cesare Romano tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Glintung FC's Deng Zhen Chen in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ercole Carnevale stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Deng Zhen Chen's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Santoryu FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Giles Janda was slow to take the kick. During this time Glintung FC's players had a chance to rest. Lev Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grzegorz Grzelak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute Deng Zhen Chen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ercole Carnevale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Grzegorz Grzelak reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lev Buffon. The goal made the score 1-1. Bandit Cinta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ercole Carnevale having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Cesare Romano made the kick off in the second half. Santoryu FC's Ercole Carnevale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Santoryu FC from getting a goal against them. 57 minutes into the match, Santoryu FC's goalkeeper Ercole Carnevale had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Deng Zhen Chen. Deng Zhen Chen was extremely unlucky when he, in the 62nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 66th minute, Fausto Rosetta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santoryu FC's Andrea Muciaccia was substituted for Elia Strano. After 67 played minutes Santoryu FC got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Rosetta. Santoryu FC's Ercole Carnevale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giles Janda in the 68th minute of play. A collision led to Glintung FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Kalidou Koulibaly hit a great ball. Glintung FC's Amran Karisma was substituted for Bandit Cinta. Santoryu FC's Dennis Nero was substituted for Teodoro Chale. After a rather tough play, Glintung FC's Kalidou Koulibaly got a free kick in the 75th minute. Deng Zhen Chen might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ercole Carnevale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Deng Zhen Chen ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 83rd minute, Dennis Nero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, Glintung FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cesare Romano came free, but Lev Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deng Zhen Chens short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Ercole Carnevale to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 91 minutes, Deng Zhen Chen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glintung FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Deng Zhen Chen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ercole Carnevale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deng Zhen Chen in the 94th minute of the match.
