Spectators: 169 (Terracing: 127, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marcos Carioca took the kick off in the first half of the match. Marcos Carioca took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emerson Ferraz. Emerson Ferraz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Rosenborg's goalkeeper Cristoforo Morini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guido Burgstaller. Cristoforo Morini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Timo Schinnenburg in the 10th minute. Rosenborg's attentive Biagio Stellato managed to snatch the ball when Hartmut Riesenhuber made a throw-in in the 11th minute of the game. Marcos Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Emerson Ferraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guido Burgstaller was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 17th minute. Möhnsen FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Guido Burgstaller's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristoforo Morini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Marcos Carioca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emerson Ferraz was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Guido Burgstaller might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristoforo Morini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guido Burgstaller ran back to his position shaking his head. Emerson Ferraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Carioca, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Guido Burgstaller in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cristoforo Morini, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Möhnsen FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Karel Dautzenberg in the 31st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guido Burgstaller in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristoforo Morini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guido Burgstaller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Cristoforo Morini made a huge save. Möhnsen FC's Guido Burgstaller got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Rosenborg were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

55 minutes into the match, Rosenborg's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Burgstaller came free, but Cristoforo Morini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute Guido Burgstaller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Morini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Guido Burgstaller ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristoforo Morini was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Rosenborg made a substitution. Luciano Lluques replaced Marcos Carioca. Rosenborg made a substitution. Fortunato Zola replaced Biagio Stellato. Cristoforo Morini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Béla Strothmann in the 66th minute of the match. Leo Freiherr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Guido Burgstaller sped through Rosenborg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cristoforo Morini. Andrea Ronconi replaced Cosimo Mandelli. 80 minutes into the match, Möhnsen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Lluques came free, but Emerson Ferraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 81 played minutes Rosenborg got a freekick which was hit by Viggo Hellgren. Cristoforo Morini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Burgstaller, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After 86 minutes of play, Möhnsen FC's Guido Burgstaller made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristoforo Morini was left in no man's land by his defense there! 89 minutes into the game, Möhnsen FC's Guido Burgstaller nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristoforo Morini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. In the 92nd minute, Luciano Lluques made a precise shot to the right of Emerson Ferraz. Möhnsen FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. Luciano Lluquess short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Emerson Ferraz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cristoforo Morini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Burgstaller in the 96th minute of the match.
