In the 13th match minute, FC Triesenberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ralph Gantenbein to maneuver through the defense. When Thorsten Nägele fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Triesenberg's protests and gave Thorsten Nägele a yellow card for diving instead. Helmut Alabor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grigoris Rigoulias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Helmut Alabor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grigoris Rigoulias in the 19th minute of play. After 21 minutes of play, KAFSONAS F.C.'s Simos Kapataidakis made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Helmut Alabor was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the FC Triesenberg defense, Simos Kapataidakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Helmut Alabor. The FC Triesenberg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Helmut Alabor should have stopped the shot. After 37 minutes of play, KAFSONAS F.C.'s Renato Fernandes made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Helmut Alabor was left in no man's land by his defense there! KAFSONAS F.C. were furious when Grigoris Rigoulias was red carded, 41 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for KAFSONAS F.C.! Ismaele Santo Strub blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Léo Velloso having to make a save. 47 minutes into the match, FC Triesenberg's Antonio Jauch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Léo Velloso narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

With a little luck, FC Triesenberg's Helmut Alabor got control of the ball when Makis Zikas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alekos Agathopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helmut Alabor having to interfere. Renato Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helmut Alabor having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Makis Zikas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Helmut Alabor. That made the score 1-5 in the 85 minute of play. KAFSONAS F.C.'s Renato Fernandes got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, KAFSONAS F.C.'s Aggelos Vogiaris got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute, Simos Kapataidakis made a precise shot to the right of Helmut Alabor. FC Triesenberg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. The FC Triesenberg fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. KAFSONAS F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
