Ethan Smart received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Óscar Cordoba came out and tried to block the shot, but Ethan Smart slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Kujawiak Włocławek's Ethan Smart sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Óscar Cordoba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Óscar Cordoba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raphaël Félicité, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Óscar Cordoba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Verstraeten's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute Kujawiak Włocławek were awarded a corner. Olaf Kolano went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Kujawiak Włocławek's Olaf Kolano to fire away a dangerous shot which Óscar Cordoba despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Maradona in the 29th minute of play forced Kujawiak Włocławek's goalkeeper Julian Zakrzewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Óscar Cordoba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raphaël Félicité in the 30th minute of the match. 2-0 became the score in the 32nd minute when Oscar Verstraeten elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Oscar Verstraeten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Óscar Cordoba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ethan Smart in the 38th minute of the match. When Kujawiak Włocławek's Ethan Smart in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 48th match minute, Kujawiak Włocławek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raphaël Félicité to maneuver through the defense. After 49 played minutes Kujawiak Włocławek got a freekick which was hit by Raphaël Félicité.

Sporting de Gijón's Matias Bilintx got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, Kujawiak Włocławek's Raphaël Félicité sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Óscar Cordoba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Óscar Cordoba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Halil Kiraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 71 minutes of play, Kujawiak Włocławek's Raphaël Félicité made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Óscar Cordoba was left in no man's land by his defense there! Diego Maradona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Zakrzewski having to interfere. Sporting de Gijón's Mario Zanabria was substituted for Venancio Emesto. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Ethan Smart sped through Sporting de Gijón's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Óscar Cordoba. After 88 played minutes Kujawiak Włocławek got a freekick which was hit by Ethan Smart. With an all-out effort, Sporting de Gijón's Julian Zakrzewski threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Diego Maradona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Natalio Evis kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the game, Santiago-Tomas Mora was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kujawiak Włocławek's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting de Gijón the free kick. In the 95th minute, Santiago-Tomas Mora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
