Lutz Golke scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gonzalo Marko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 6th minute Alex Mansilha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Marko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Ice Valley FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joachim Kretschmer came free, but Gonzalo Marko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rogelio Tancredo's late challenge caught a Academica Pulheim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rogelio Tancredo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Academica Pulheim booed when Ice Valley FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Tancredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute, Alex Mansilha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gonzalo Marko was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 14 minutes into the match, Lutz Golke notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Ice Valley FC's Gonzalo Marko. Gonzalo Marko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dionisio Calvino kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Lutz Golke put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Gonzalo Marko. 24 minutes into the match, Alex Mansilha notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Ice Valley FC's Gonzalo Marko. Gonzalo Marko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lutz Golke in the 27th minute of play forced Ice Valley FC's goalkeeper Gonzalo Marko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Kurt Ahrem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Marko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ice Valley FC's goalkeeper Gonzalo Marko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 34th minute Academica Pulheim were awarded a corner. Alex Mansilha went to the cornerflag to take it. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ice Valley FC! In the 35th minute there was a penalty for Academica Pulheim. Alex Mansilha stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gonzalo Marko. 0-6. Kurt Ahrem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gonzalo Marko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Ahrem in the 42nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Mansilha in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gonzalo Marko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Joachim Kretschmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Academica Pulheim booed when Ice Valley FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Toro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Academica Pulheim were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Gonzalo Marko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lutz Golke in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the game, Lutz Golke recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gonzalo Marko. Lutz Golke showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Academica Pulheim's Zbigniew Setara was substituted for Kurt Ahrem. 63 minutes into the match, Maxime Vrints had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gonzalo Marko. Ice Valley FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maxime Vrints was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. If Gary Lineker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Academica Pulheim fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Academica Pulheim's Zbigniew Setara looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-10 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gonzalo Marko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joachim Kretschmer in the 71st minute of the match. In the 74th minute Maxime Vrints shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Marko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joachim Kretschmer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Marko having to interfere. If Maxime Vrints had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 77 minutes into the match, Ice Valley FC's goalkeeper Gonzalo Marko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zbigniew Setara. Zbigniew Setara took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gonzalo Marko. Gonzalo Marko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. When Maxime Vrints came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Academica Pulheim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maxime Vrints couldn't finish the play. Maxime Vrints in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gonzalo Marko, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gonzalo Marko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxime Vrints in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Alex Mansilha reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gonzalo Marko. The goal made the score 0-12. With a little luck, Ice Valley FC's Gonzalo Marko got control of the ball when Joachim Kretschmer tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 91st minute, Sergio Ramos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gonzalo Marko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zbigniew Setara in the 93rd minute. Gonzalo Marko was a little too slow when Maxime Vrints got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 0-13. Academica Pulheim's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
