An unexpectedly hard shot by Wei De Ling in the 3rd minute of play forced Linterna verde's goalkeeper Siro Jolis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Siro Jolis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wei De Ling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Tirso Durango took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Rosendo Balesio to make any attempt to save it. Clodoveo Neto scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Siro Jolis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 19 minutes into the match, AC Rangers's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Piquero came free, but Rosendo Balesio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Wei De Ling got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th minute Cezary Lewandowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Balesio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Siro Jolis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wei De Ling in the 31st minute of play. Siro Jolis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vicente Sal's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Rosendo Balesio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimeno Piquero in the 39th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes Linterna verde got a freekick which was hit by Goran Tilov. After 41 played minutes, AC Rangers's Ezequiel Ilazki shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Siro Jolis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AC Rangers reached it. Thanks to some nice moves Jimeno Piquero could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which Rosendo Balesio however easily saved by the left post. Rosendo Balesio made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Jimeno Piquero sent off a good shot on target. Lucado Terrilla hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wei De Ling was the one to do the kick off. Tirso Durango might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rosendo Balesio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tirso Durango ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 54th minute Cezary Lewandowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Balesio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rosendo Balesio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurelio Cisneros went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Linterna verde made a substitution. Ted Villabona replaced Tirso Durango. Rosendo Balesio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimeno Piquero, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. When Aldri Wenas came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Linterna verde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aldri Wenas couldn't finish the play. Rosendo Balesio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ted Villabona's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. After 97 played minutes Linterna verde got a freekick which was hit by Lucado Terrilla. Crispin Grassow recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Linterna verde had won after a very even match.
