An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcu Iosub in the 10th minute of play forced Axenstein's goalkeeper Michele Rieger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Marcu Iosub nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michele Rieger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Leonid Afteni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michele Rieger having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Aristide Păunescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LIVIUS UNITED MLS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Michele Rieger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristide Păunescu in the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Leonid Afteni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michele Rieger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute LIVIUS UNITED MLS were awarded a corner. Daniel Şimandan went to the cornerflag to take it. Daniel Şimandan made a great header on LIVIUS UNITED MLS's corner, it was just that Axenstein's Michele Rieger managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 35th minute, Claudiu Bumba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michele Rieger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonid Afteni in the 36th minute of play. Janusz Skaradowski hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 1-2 became the score in the 44th minute when Ragnar Lodbrok elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to Axenstein getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Valentin Trucco hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudiu Bumba to make the kick off. Bartolomé Perpiñán could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Michele Rieger made a huge save. Michele Rieger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonid Afteni, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Yanick Knecht played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ragnar Lodbrok in the 67th minute of play. The LIVIUS UNITED MLS fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Marcu Iosub looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 78th minute Ragnar Lodbrok shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yanick Knecht saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yanick Knecht took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudiu Bumba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcu Iosub in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Michele Rieger, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bartolomé Perpiñán received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Michele Rieger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th match minute, LIVIUS UNITED MLS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Şimandan to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ragnar Lodbrok in the 91st minute of play forced LIVIUS UNITED MLS's goalkeeper Yanick Knecht to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to LIVIUS UNITED MLS getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Emanuel Zbârnea hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded LIVIUS UNITED MLS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Axenstein.
