When Manchester United FC's Eero Uusipaavalniemi in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Manchester United FC's Eero Uusipaavalniemi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Saturnino Sol in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Saturnino Sol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taisto Pentsinen in the 19th minute of the match. Liu Feng Jing hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Saturnino Sol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar Kuoppala in the 21st minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, C.A.P.J.'s goal looked a bit too open when Taisto Pentsinen came free, but Saturnino Sol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When C.A.P.J.'s Liu Feng Jing in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Saturnino Sol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Davide Beckham's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. After some careless play in the Manchester United FC defense, Serafin Criston kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edwin van der Sar. The Manchester United FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edwin van der Sar should have stopped the shot. In the 44th minute Davide Beckham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino Sol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saturnino Sol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taisto Pentsinen in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eero Uusipaavalniemi to make the kick off. Saturnino Sol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taisto Pentsinen in the 51st minute of play. After 52 minutes C.A.P.J.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eero Uusipaavalniemi who took care of the corner kick. Saturnino Sol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taisto Pentsinen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Manchester United FC's goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rene Atarrabi. Serafin Criston could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Edwin van der Sar made a huge save. The supporters of Manchester United FC booed when C.A.P.J. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Goretzka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rene Atarrabi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Edwin van der Sar made a huge save. Saturnino Sol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Cantona in the 86th minute of play. Saturnino Sol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davide Beckham, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Saturnino Sol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdemar Kuoppala in the 89th minute of the match. Eero Uusipaavalniemi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Saturnino Sol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manchester United FC's Edwin van der Sar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Manchester United FC from getting a goal against them. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Manchester United FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while C.A.P.J. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
