Club Sportiv Medgidia's Nicu Arghirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Montae in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Pagos FC booed when Club Sportiv Medgidia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduard Vasîlca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nuralp Akbal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nicu Arghirescu came out and tried to block the shot, but Nuralp Akbal slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Nuralp Akbal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nicu Arghirescu. Nuralp Akbal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. When Ilie Vişoianu fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Sportiv Medgidia's protests and gave Ilie Vişoianu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th match minute, Club Sportiv Medgidia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilie Vişoianu to maneuver through the defense. Nicu Arghirescu was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Nuralp Akbal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nuralp Akbal really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 9-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisc Cămărășan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nicu Arghirescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Uwe Birmes went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. 65 minutes into the match, Nuralp Akbal notched a goal, 13-0, to the right of Club Sportiv Medgidia's Nicu Arghirescu. Nicu Arghirescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pagos FC's Christos Bartzokas was substituted for Nuralp Akbal. After 71 minutes of play, Pagos FC's Christos Bartzokas made it 14-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicu Arghirescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Christos Bartzokas put it in 15-0 from a short distance just to the right of Nicu Arghirescu. In the 77th minute Christos Bartzokas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicu Arghirescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ilie Vişoianu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. In the 79th match minute, Club Sportiv Medgidia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilie Vişoianu to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the game, Christos Bartzokas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 16-0. Nicu Arghirescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Club Sportiv Medgidia defense, Christos Bartzokas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicu Arghirescu. The Club Sportiv Medgidia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicu Arghirescu should have stopped the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Club Sportiv Medgidia's goal looked a bit too open when Christos Bartzokas came free, but Nicu Arghirescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18-0 became the score in the 92nd minute when Ionel Mirea elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
