Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 111, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Francisc Cămărășan started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Club Sportiv Medgidia's Vasile Isopescu got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 7th match minute, Club Sportiv Medgidia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasile Isopescu to maneuver through the defense. Nicu Arghirescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Georg Danielsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Vilgot Sandberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Sebastian Matei from long distance, 12 minutes into the match, got Benjamin Blixt's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Pål Strömberg kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Nicu Arghirescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pål Strömberg went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Benjamin Blixt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilie Vişoianu in the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by KD Stiger's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sebastian Matei was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Sportiv Medgidia's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Almqvist in the 25th minute of play forced Club Sportiv Medgidia's goalkeeper Nicu Arghirescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Club Sportiv Medgidia's Ilie Vişoianu got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute Georg Danielsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicu Arghirescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisc Cămărășan struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Benjamin Blixt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Sportiv Medgidia. Henrik Christoffersson got in the 34th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Nicu Arghirescu handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Club Sportiv Medgidia's goal looked a bit too open when Pål Strömberg came free, but Nicu Arghirescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half KD Stiger were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Georg Danielsson was the one to do the kick off. In the 62nd match minute, Club Sportiv Medgidia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horea Aplugăriței to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Sebastian Matei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 64 played minutes, KD Stiger's Santiago Ascacíbar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nicu Arghirescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in KD Stiger reached it. When Ferdinand Hidiș fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Sportiv Medgidia's protests and gave Ferdinand Hidiș a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th match minute, Club Sportiv Medgidia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinand Hidiș to maneuver through the defense. Nicu Arghirescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Stark, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Marko Östman charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marko Östman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 79 played minutes KD Stiger got a freekick which was hit by Bo Almqvist. KD Stiger's Benjamin Blixt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horea Aplugăriței in the 80th minute of play. After some careless play in the KD Stiger defense, Horea Aplugăriței kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benjamin Blixt. The KD Stiger fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benjamin Blixt should have stopped the shot. Ferdinand Hidiș hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 90th match minute, Club Sportiv Medgidia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinand Hidiș to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Vasile Isopescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 92 minutes, Santiago Ascacíbar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KD Stiger's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santiago Ascacíbar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
