In the 11th minute Min Alacuart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Robin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Volkan Demirel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dmitry Levashik in the 16th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Min Alacuart had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfred Robin. Vriendenkring Wippelgem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Min Alacuart was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 22 minutes into the game, Dmitry Levashik cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Volkan Demirel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vriendenkring Wippelgem's Alfred Robin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Min Alacuart in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tito Goncalves in the 27th minute of play forced Vriendenkring Wippelgem's goalkeeper Alfred Robin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dmitry Levashik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Volkan Demirel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Tito Goncalves hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Dmitry Levashik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Volkan Demirel was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. 32 minutes into the match, Vriendenkring Wippelgem's goal looked a bit too open when Min Alacuart came free, but Alfred Robin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes in the game Ortzi Calzado did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Uche Okechukwu. After taking down the ball on Vriendenkring Wippelgem's corner Lorenz Van Schoorisse fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Volkan Demirel quite easily take care of the ball. After some careless play in the TunaFC defense, Dmitry Levashik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Volkan Demirel. The TunaFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Volkan Demirel should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Faruk Nafiz Tutuş to strike the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes Vriendenkring Wippelgem got a freekick which was hit by Mattijs Van Der Meeren. When Vriendenkring Wippelgem's Dmitry Levashik in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TunaFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 61st minute of the match Vriendenkring Wippelgem got a corner. TunaFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lorenz Van Schoorisse ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lorenz Van Schoorisse made a great header on Vriendenkring Wippelgem's corner, it was just that TunaFC's Volkan Demirel managed to reach the ball for a save. Volkan Demirel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dmitry Levashik, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Volkan Demirel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dmitry Levashik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ortzi Calzado made in the 90th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Uche Okechukwu. The supporters of Vriendenkring Wippelgem booed when TunaFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ortzi Calzado didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the game, Ortzi Calzado threw the ball into play from the sideline. Vriendenkring Wippelgem's Lorenz Van Schoorisse quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The Vriendenkring Wippelgem players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
