In the 7th minute of the match, Linus Stenqvist tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gilbert Podolski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Kazimierz Dylla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frans Billström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. With a little luck, Pogoń Stawiszyn's Gilbert Podolski got control of the ball when Martin Lang tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Linus Stenqvist got free with Gilbert Podolski in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Linus Stenqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Gilbert Podolski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Radoslaw Trojanowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frans Billström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tallboda Gunners's Linus Stenqvist in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Pogoń Stawiszyn's Borys Pankiewicz in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tallboda Gunners's goalie prevented a goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Linus Stenqvist made a kick off. Martin Lang got in the 63rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Gilbert Podolski handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Martin Lang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Tallboda Gunners's goalkeeper Frans Billström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Borys Pankiewicz. After having played for 84 minutes, Karl-Erik Ahlbom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tallboda Gunners's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Erik Ahlbom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gilbert Podolski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Erik Ahlbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Kazimierz Dylla hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Karl-Erik Ahlbom's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilbert Podolski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Radoslaw Trojanowski kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Kazimierz Dylla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pogoń Stawiszyn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. A collision led to Pogoń Stawiszyn getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Adam Kaznocha hit a great ball. Tallboda Gunners's Frans Billström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Borys Pankiewicz in the 96th minute of play. The Pogoń Stawiszyn players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
