ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Thomás Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miroslaw Miazga in the 10th minute of play. After a rather tough play, JFSP's Patrick Meira got a free kick in the 15th minute. If Miroslaw Miazga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Victor Huștiu got a free kick in the 20th minute. Thomás Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeferson Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thomás Linares had in the 27thth minute some difficulties stopping Miroslaw Miazga's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A collision led to JFSP getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Rubinho Zanette hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lu in the 32nd minute of play forced JFSP's goalkeeper Yusuf Muslera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Miroslaw Miazga made a precise shot to the right of Thomás Linares. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. JFSP's Yusuf Muslera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lu in the 39th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miroslaw Miazga to make the kick off. William Ekelund kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Victor Huștiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. JFSP's João Francisco do Nascimento was substituted for Paulinho Batista. The audience was convinced that Bernardo Cabral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thomás Linares was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. When Vili Kärki came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the JFSP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vili Kärki couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardo Cabral in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomás Linares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Victor Huștiu's late challenge caught a JFSP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victor Huștiu helped the player get up and apologised. After 80 played minutes ASF BAIA MARE -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Victor Huștiu. Miroslaw Miazga took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thomás Linares. Thomás Linares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Jeferson Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thomás Linares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. A collision led to ASF BAIA MARE -MM- getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Dorin Caloian hit a great ball. Thomás Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miroslaw Miazga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the ASF BAIA MARE -MM- players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for JFSP.
