Ismael Gorka was slow to take the kick. During this time Parelheiros FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vilma Palma's goalkeeper Ronaldão Penha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Francesco Totti took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Ronaldão Penha to make any attempt to save it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leszek Jeziorkowski in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronaldão Penha saved Vilma Palma from getting behind. Nuno Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luo Zhen Chang in the 37th minute of the match. Ronaldão Penha made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Ismael Gorka sent off a good shot on target. Nuno Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Gaitan in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute Luo Zhen Chang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Vilma Palma's Ronaldão Penha got control of the ball when Leszek Jeziorkowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
