The supporters of Fuerzas Armadas booed when ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zheko Kraychev didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Xerardo Amer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Fuerzas Armadas's Elvio Rivas got a free kick in the 25th minute. After 26 minutes of play, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Martín Ulloa made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Coronel Valdivia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Martín Ulloa took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Coronel Valdivia. Coronel Valdivia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Humberto Escobar in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Coronel Valdivia saved Fuerzas Armadas from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Escobar in the 35th minute of play forced Fuerzas Armadas's goalkeeper Coronel Valdivia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Coronel Valdivia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Escobar in the 36th minute of the match. Xerardo Amer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Juan Benavides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Coronel Ponce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Benavides having to interfere. Coronel Valdivia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Escobar in the 41st minute of the match. Coronel Valdivia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martín Ulloa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Juan Benavides proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xerardo Amer was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milosz Gabis in the 52nd minute of play forced Fuerzas Armadas's goalkeeper Coronel Valdivia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Milosz Gabis took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Coronel Valdivia. Coronel Valdivia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Fuerzas Armadas's García Morales was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Juan Benavides in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mikel Casals kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Humberto Escobar notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Fuerzas Armadas's Coronel Valdivia. Coronel Valdivia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 78th minute Quinto Nobo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Benavides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Escobar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Humberto Escobar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Coronel Valdivia having to make a save. Juan Benavides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xerardo Amer in the 95th minute of play.
