Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeremias Ferraz in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Coronel Valdivia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Niek Molhoek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaizkine Armada, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 21stth minute of the game Xerardo Amer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olímpico Blumenau FC's Niek Molhoek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Elvio Rivas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Olímpico Blumenau FC's Mário Arce got a free kick in the 24th minute. Isaltino Siqueira kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Quinto Nobo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niek Molhoek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

A collision led to Fuerzas Armadas getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Gaizkine Armada hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaltino Siqueira in the 53rd minute of play forced Fuerzas Armadas's goalkeeper Coronel Valdivia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th match minute, Olímpico Blumenau FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimir Gaspar to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when García Morales got free with Niek Molhoek in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Coronel Valdivia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Almir Quadros's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Urbasa Vazquez hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Coronel Valdivia came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Olímpico Blumenau FC's Válbson Ferraz. But to his dismay, Válbson Ferraz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 80th minute of the match, Quinto Nobo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Niek Molhoek saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Coronel Valdivia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Ferraz in the 89th minute of play. In the 89th match minute, Olímpico Blumenau FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Arce to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, Quinto Nobo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niek Molhoek. Olímpico Blumenau FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Quinto Nobo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 94th minute, Quinto Nobo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olímpico Blumenau FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
