Aykut Zihni tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Arif Bilge Tokyürek. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-1 in the 17th minute. Şafak Açıkalın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Máximo Azeredo having to interfere. Yu Xi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Máximo Azeredo firmly grabbed it by the left post. H E P T A N FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kuzey Ustam in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind H E P T A N FC's goalkeeper Arif Bilge Tokyürek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to White Eagles FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Olly Shaw hit a great ball. H E P T A N FC were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after White Eagles FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kuzey Ustam took the corner. Máximo Azeredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şafak Açıkalın in the 34th minute of play. White Eagles FC's Máximo Azeredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şafak Açıkalın in the 35th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, White Eagles FC's goal looked a bit too open when Şafak Açıkalın came free, but Máximo Azeredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half White Eagles FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
