FrenaHayBache were furious when Gero von Scheliha was red carded, 41 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 45th minute, Csongor Tímár hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 82nd minute Dariusz Roano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damián Martínez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Marcos Berasko almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FrenaHayBache's Damián Martínez did a great save. Dariusz Roano struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Damián Martínez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lyons. FrenaHayBache's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
