Maxi Meza kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 7th minute James Madison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Diagur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gregorio Diagur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from James Madison in the 9th minute of play. In the 24th minute Maxi Meza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Ponc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gregorio Diagur was a little too slow when Arsenio Maria got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 28 played minutes Villa Mitre City got a freekick which was hit by James Madison. A collision led to COSQUIN SFC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Natalio Jaen hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, Arsenio Maria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Villa Mitre City's Ariel Ponc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxi Meza in the 37th minute of play. Gregorio Diagur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio Maria, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Gregorio Diagur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from James Madison in the 39th minute of play. Arsenio Maria came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gregorio Diagur could save by the left post. Gregorio Diagur made an important save on a dangerous shot by James Madison in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

54 minutes into the game, Mauricio Macías cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Gregorio Diagur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 56th minute Arsenio Maria suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Villa Mitre City's Chus Insausti was substituted for Arsenio Maria. Manuel Lanzini hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, COSQUIN SFC's Maxi Meza ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ariel Ponc. Ariel Ponc yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. After 66 minutes, Chus Insausti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villa Mitre City and the COSQUIN SFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Villa Mitre City's Chus Insausti got a free kick in the 66th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Ruperto Romo notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Villa Mitre City's Ariel Ponc. Ariel Ponc was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chus Insausti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregorio Diagur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Mauricio Macías was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villa Mitre City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave COSQUIN SFC the free kick. In the 74th minute, Mauricio Macías hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Villa Mitre City made a substitution. Fulgencio Iratzeder replaced Dante Brion. Miguel Borja made in the 80th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ruperto Romo immediately put the ball in play. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind COSQUIN SFC's goalkeeper Gregorio Diagur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the COSQUIN SFC defense, Mauricio Macías kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gregorio Diagur. The COSQUIN SFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gregorio Diagur should have stopped the shot. In the 87th minute, Mauricio Macías made a precise shot to the right of Gregorio Diagur. COSQUIN SFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. When Imam Sarwono came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Villa Mitre City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Imam Sarwono couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Villa Mitre City fans cheered their team off the field, for while COSQUIN SFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
