Dinu Oardă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christijan Schreuder, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Twan Hesseling in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dinu Oardă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dinu Oardă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Twan Hesseling in the 15th minute of play. Christijan Schreuder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinu Oardă having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Verwachting's goalkeeper Herbert Hilhorst had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Lucila. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Twan Hesseling in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dinu Oardă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute Verwachting were awarded a corner. Adriaan Kuypers went to the cornerflag to take it. Dinu Oardă came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Verwachting's Christijan Schreuder. But to his dismay, Christijan Schreuder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 30th minute Huib Staarman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinu Oardă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Verwachting's Huib Staarman in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Christijan Schreuder's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dinu Oardă was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. In the 40th match minute, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edwin 雷岩 to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute, Phoenix Soare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Lucila's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Herbert Hilhorst skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Twan Hesseling to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Liviu Frumușanu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Verwachting's Phoenix Soare quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Victor Lucila got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Christijan Schreuder sped through MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dinu Oardă. When Verwachting's Twan Hesseling, in the 63rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Verwachting. The audience thought a goal was coming when Twan Hesseling got free with Dinu Oardă in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adriaan Kuypers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute Liviu Frumușanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Hilhorst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adriaan Kuypers kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Liviu Frumușanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Hilhorst having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Twan Hesseling got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Herbert Hilhorst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest Oprescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Liviu Frumușanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Herbert Hilhorst. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Liviu Frumușanu ran back to his position shaking his head. Verwachting's Herbert Hilhorst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Lucila in the 89th minute of play. Herbert Hilhorst showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liviu Frumușanu in the 91st minute of the match. Huib Staarman charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Huib Staarman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 94 played minutes Verwachting got a freekick which was hit by Huib Staarman. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Verwachting eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
