Grzegorz Piechna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yunus Civan having to interfere. Yunus Civan made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Marty Simpson sent off a good shot on target. Yunus Civan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marty Simpson in the 14th minute of play. Hong Yuan hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Grzegorz Piechna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Yunus Civan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marty Simpson got free with Yunus Civan in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ivo Waard hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Yunus Civan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grzegorz Piechna in the 32nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Agah Özver notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Arrows Academy FC's Ged Nightingale. Ged Nightingale was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Agah Özver made a kick off. Marty Simpson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Yunus Civan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yunus Civan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marty Simpson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marty Simpson in the 62nd minute of play forced Trabzonspor's goalkeeper Yunus Civan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Damiano Di Rocco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trabzonspor made a substitution. Vacid Oğuzata replaced Lucio Claus. Trabzonspor's Duran Ersan was substituted for Agah Özver. 71 minutes into the game, Duran Ersan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ged Nightingale. Duran Ersan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 80th minute Marty Simpson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yunus Civan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 86 minutes on the clock, Pacho Quintianan commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Buğrahan Uman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Ged Nightingale made a huge save. Grzegorz Piechna struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Yunus Civan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arrows Academy FC. In the 91st match minute, Trabzonspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İsmet Yalçıner to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Ataman Kutun fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 97 minutes into the game, Trabzonspor's Duran Ersan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ged Nightingale made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3.
